Biography

I am a former U.S. Army Sergeant and law enforcement supervisor with a deep commitment to helping individuals, couples, and families grow through life’s most challenging seasons. My professional background in high-pressure leadership roles, combined with years of mentoring and counseling experience, allows me to bring a steady, grounded, and compassionate presence to my work.

As an award-winning male mentor, I regularly speak with high school students on social and emotional intelligence, spirituality, character development, and personal growth. I am passionate about equipping young people with the tools they need to build resilience, purpose, and healthy relationships.

In my counseling practice, I work extensively with couples who desire to rebuild and strengthen their marriages. My approach addresses trauma, roles and responsibilities, spirituality, communication, conflict resolution, shared values, guiding principles, and long-term goals. I also support individuals navigating difficult life transitions, including divorce, workplace abuse, family conflict, and seasons of emotional or relational distress.

My clinical and coaching work integrates evidence-based approaches including the Gottman Method, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also a Certified Christian Life Coach, and I thoughtfully integrate faith-based principles when aligned with a client’s values and preferences.

I am happily married and a proud father of two children. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading, movies, traveling with my family, working out, and attending church. My personal and professional experiences shape a counseling style that is authentic, principled, and deeply relational—focused on helping people heal, grow, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
