Biography

Sandy is a Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is also certified in Integrative Mental Health Nutrition, allowing her to support clients through a whole-person approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being.

Growing up as a middle child of five, Sandy learned early on the value of resilience, hard work, and personal responsibility—lessons that continue to shape her compassionate, grounded approach to therapy. She genuinely loves her work and feels deeply called to walk alongside others in their healing journey.

Sandy believes every individual deserves an unbiased, accepting space tailored to their unique needs. She understands how past experiences, trauma, and family dynamics influence how we see ourselves and the world. Her goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and support—so they feel empowered and less alone.

Her therapeutic style is rooted in authenticity, honesty, humility, and humor. Sandy works with individuals ages 15 to 85 and married couples, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, school stress, family dynamics, and stress management. Her integrative approach draws from Christian counseling, person-centered therapy, and holistic practices, incorporating techniques from CBT, Movement Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
