As a counselor –
I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their lives, including those struggling with adjustments related to life changes, navigating post-secondary education, or transitioning into the workforce after college. My work focuses on helping clients identify and break negative patterns that interfere with emotional well-being, relationships, and personal growth. Whether you are managing anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, or questioning your direction, you are not alone. Reaching out for support can feel difficult, but counseling can be a meaningful first step toward clarity, balance, and a stronger sense of control.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Life Coach, and Certified Executive Coach, I aim to challenge the stigma often associated with counseling and personal development. My approach is straightforward, nonjudgmental, and strength centered. I focus on helping clients identify and build upon their existing strengths while simplifying complex challenges so they can gain clarity, confidence, and practical insight into their lives.
As a coach –
In my work as an executive and life coach, I support high-performing individuals—many from corporate America—who have achieved professional success yet feel disconnected from their sense of self. These clients are often deeply conditioned by the demands of high-impact careers and find that their professional identity has gradually overshadowed their genuine self. Through executive coaching, I ask thoughtful and sometimes difficult questions designed to challenge assumptions, reveal clarity, and reconnect clients with their core values. The goal is not to diminish success, but to create alignment between who they are and how they lead, work, and live.
A little about me –
In addition to my clinical and coaching work, I have spent several years involved in the volleyball community as a coach at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. Coaching has reinforced my belief in discipline, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth—principles I integrate into my work with clients.
I am a native Southsider of the City of Chicago and grew up in a blue-collar household. Before becoming a counselor, I spent time navigating academia and later worked as a Union Sprinklerfitter in the building trades. At one point, my role took an untraditional turn when I became a stay-at-home father to three children under the age of three. That experience required patience, adaptability, emotional awareness, and the ability to manage stress under constant demand. It deepened my empathy, strengthened my communication skills, and reinforced the importance of presence, balance, and resilience—qualities that strongly inform my work with clients today. Outside of work I can be found attending my kid’s athletic events, traveling, embracing my love of music, or spending time with great friends.
Choosing to pursue licensure as a Professional Counselor has been deeply rewarding. I am committed to providing a supportive, honest, and empowering space where clients can work toward meaningful and lasting change
